Thank You
We did it! Your hard work and dedication truly made a difference yesterday. Every hour you volunteered, voter you called, door you knocked, letter you wrote, and dollar you contributed built our victory last night. It was a true grassroots movement that would not have been possible without your support. My family and I have never been so proud and humbled–and we have you to thank.
The voters of the 10th District had the opportunity to elect two other great candidates: Julie Hamos and Elliot Richardson. I would like to thank them for making this race an opportunity to talk about the issues and how to make this world a better place for generations to come.
I look forward to the conversation we will have on the issues in the coming months. I believe the voters of the10th District want a leader that will focus on moving this country forward instead of trying to return to the policies of the last Administration. So I will focus my efforts on policies that will help get people back to work; build our educational system, make healthcare more affordable, develop sustainable energy sources, and reduce our national debt.
Unfortunately, we know too well what the other side has planned. We are likely to see many personal attacks, innuendo, and half-truths instead of genuine debate on the issues. These tactics are designed to distract us from the problems we all face. But if we keep our focus and keep working hard I know we will see great things happen in November
Again, thank you for the tremendous work you did in the Primary. Now it’s time to move forward.
