I supported Dan the last two times he ran and I will support him again in this bid for the Congress. Will do what I can to campaign for him even though my walking endurance is limited, but then again with new knees maybe I will run to the finish line with him.
Diann Leahy – Glenview
Brainy, compassionate, approachable . . . these describe Dan Seals to me.
Judith Frederick – Glenview
My husband and I support Dan Seals for Congress. We look forward to having a congressman who supports our needs and the needs of all Americans.
Go Dan!!!
Kevin Roos – Glenview
The first time Dan ran for Congress, it was against an incredibly popular incumbent. The seat was considered safe, and it’s doubtful any serious observer would have said at the start that it was possible for the incumbent to lose. Dan stood up for better representation anyway, because his motivation is making the world a better and safer place for his children. Not only did he stand up, but he almost won, because he is a charismatic candidate brimming with well-articulated solutions to the problems facing our district and our country. Now that the seat is open, there is no one else I would place my trust in to win the seat and represent our district.
Judith Tepfer – Highland Park
Dan Seals will be a strong, progressive voice in the United States Congress. He understands the needs of our community and our country.
William Florida – Wilmette
Dan has done a good job in his campaigns, and he has the right temperament to represent our district in Congress. Dan’s international, multicultural, pro-business view is the right direction for the Democratic party and our nation. I know that Dan will be an effective advocate for our district and will make us proud or his substance and manner.
Arlene and Ray Handler – Northbrook
We are delighted that Dan Seals is, hopefully, going to be elected!
Merri Bizjack – Palatine
I’ve been a supporter of Dan’s since I first saw him speak at a taping of Al Franken’s radio show several years ago. I said to my daughter ‘I wish he represented my district!’ It turned out my daughter actually lived in the 10th. Unfortunately, I live a couple blocks from the 10th, but I still work for Dan because I believe he will represent all of us with wisdom and integrity.
I’ve made a point of going to see him speak and to show my support at schools, union halls, fundraisers and parades. He even went to Iowa and canvassed with all of us for Obama. Over that time he has become a person that I consider a sincere friend. He really cares about this community.
Dan Zoloth Dorfman – Evanston
Dan Seals is a successful businessman with experience in international affairs, a dedicated family man, and a tireless campaigner. He will bring to the job of Representative from 10th District the kind of values, energy and progressive vision we have not seen since the days of Abner Mikva. With tireless effort and energy, he has laid the groundwork for a Democratic take-over in 2010 and he deserves our support.
Susan Osada – Buffalo Grove
Dan is in favor of the Little Person, NOT the Big Corporations.
Laurie Ferri – Deerfield
I have listened to Dan Seals several times and he embodies the type of changes we need to see in Washington. We need people in office who are for the people and not for the machine. Dan Seals is exactly this type of person.
Katherine Carrane – Glenview
I had the good fortune of meeting Dan Seal’s wife and children on election day. She was most gracious, and his lovely children were troopers for hanging in there while so many people greeted them! I support Mr. Seals vision, and feel he would make a fine leader…we need as many as we can get!
Leon and Rae Moses – Wilmette

The first time I met Dan Seals in 2005, I knew that he was to the man to lead our district. I have never wavered in that opinion. As I watch Dan in this race, I am more convinced than ever that he is the perfect fit for this district.
Bob Corbett – Wilmette
Dan Seals is a proven, veteran campaigner who has earned the votes and respect of voters in the 10th District – he’s a known commodity. He’s knowledgeable of District and National issues. In addition Dan is, articulate, intellectually curious, a good listener, pragmatic, yet humble. He’s a devoted husband and father who lives our values. His previous experience in Washington DC makes him knowledgeable of the inner workings on Capitol Hill. Greg McLaughlin – Prospect Heights
Dan has gotten to know the people of the 10th District quite well over the last several years and knows the challenges we face. I am confident that his firm grasp of our area and its issues make him our best hope for solid representation and leadership in Congress. I urge everyone to help and support Dan Seals.
Brian Chard – Vernon Hills
We need Mr. Seals to win this seat.
Jerome Kernes – Des Plaines
Although I moved to the 9th district and can no longer vote directly for Dan, I have actively supported him both times that he was a candidate. I know he will make it this time!

This is a great chance to finally win this district. Go Dan Seals.

I worked for Dan Seals in 2008, when we came close to putting a progressive in Congress for the Tenth District. It’s time to redouble our efforts and go all the way to victory this time–let’s elect Dan Seals to Congress!
David MacNair – Libertyville
Dan Seals is a smart, thoughtful and decent man. The world would benefit from more people like him – and Congress would be all the better as well.
Mark Fox – Deerfield
Dan Seals represents the kind of leadership that is needed for the 10th Congressional District.
Sandra and Bill Kroll- Highland Park
Dan is the best person to represent the 10th District.
Beth Siela-Marcin- Rolling Meadows
During the campaign of 2008, I got to know Dan personally. He is everything that is said about him: intelligent, personable, confident, steadfast, friendly … The list of adjectives could go on and on. He will fight for our environment, our health care, our schools, everything that is important to me as a democrat and to me as a grandmother. In February, I had the opportunity to introduce him as my next congressman. It was a hope then, but now it can become reality. We have got to send Dan Seals to the Congress of the United States,
Kerrie Rosenthal- Palatine
Let’s send Dan to Washington so we can finally have real representation for the 10th district!!
Stephen Keen- Highland Park

Susan Wellek- Northbrook
I have been a Dan Seals supporter since he originally challenged Mark Kirk. During this time I got to know Dan quite well, to learn what he stands for and to be sure that he will represent the 10th district well. I encourage everyone to go to Seals events to learn more about Dan. I believe you will, then, give him your vote as he will be the best Democrat to beat any Republican challenger in 2010.
Nancy Pred- Winnetka
I endorse Dan Seals, not just because he can win the primary and the general elections, but because he knows our district better than anyone, and he’ll represent us well in Congress.
Frank Kulle- Northbrook
Dan is the right person for the job.
Ed Packel- Lake Forest
I have supported Dan Seals on his past two campaigns. I feel more strongly than ever that we need someone like him in the House. May the third time be lucky.
Rick Ingram- Chicago
Dan was in the fight when the seat had to be taken from the incumbent. He didn’t sit on the sidelines waiting for an opening. He has paid his dues and deserves our support. I am telling all my friends in the district to vote for Dan! Ann Wolff-Winnetka
I am happy to give my endorsement for Dan Seals as the best candidate for the 10th Congressional district.
Gerry and Steve Keen- Highland Park
Dan Seals is the only candidate who is dynamic and independent enough to beat any Republican. Although he is behind President Obama, he had the courage to state that he is against the Afghan escalation. He is an economist with great business expertise, the very skills so desperately needed in the House of Representatives.
Joseph Dooley III- Winnetka
I support Dan Seals as the best candidate for U.S House of Representatives representing the 10th District in the State of Ilinois.
Karen Fujisawa- Winnetka
I feel strongly that Dan Seals is the most qualified to serve as our congressman and the only Democratic candidate who has a chance to win in the general election in our politically moderate district.
At a recent candidates forum, attended by almost all of the candidates from all parties, Dan was the only candidate who showed any depth of knowledge of the district or the issues affecting us at the local, federal or global levels. Dan has held successful, well-attended, Women’s Health, Economic and Educational forums and has spearheaded volunteer efforts, most notably, for local food drives and beach cleanups. He has worked to help with the development of small ‘green’ businesses and was recently touted in a magazine as being one of the only candidates running for any race in Illinois, who mentions the economy and job growth as a number one priority.
Dan is also the only candidate who, when asked a hypothetical question about going to war, mentioned the peace process as part of the decision. He also has a real opinion about the escalation in Afghanistan and didn’t just give it blanket approval in an effort to cover up a lack of understanding of the issue. He exercises the intellectual rigor necessary for a congressman, who has to read through bills and all the amendments before voting and shows none of the impulsiveness of his opponents, to jump on the bandwagon to mask ignorance of the details.
As the father of three children who attend or will be attending schools in Wilmette, Dan recognizes the importance of a quality education but also understands how much the standards vary throughout the district. He is the only candidate who seemed to recognize that the district borderline doesn’t end at the North Shore. This may be one reason why he received the endorsement of the largest teachers’ union in our district.
As a candidate, Dan has garnered more votes than any Democrat has ever won in this district in the history of this race, even while running against a powerfully entrenched and well-funded incumbent in a year when not one incumbent lost in Illinois. Dan had the courage to run before the seat was open, and has earned high name recognition and more importantly, extremely high approval ratings in the 70th percentile, with support which cuts across all demographics. Most recently, Dan won the endorsement of the New Trier Democratic Organization, the largest Democratic organization in the district. He has also earned the endorsements of the district’s most active Democrats and is running a truly broad-based grass roots campaign.
Dan has walked through every precinct in this district and listened to people from every township. He has a grasp of the district that far outstrips his opponents. Now we have an opportunity to have that voice in Dan Seals. Please join me in voting for Dan on February 2 and then again, in November!!
Jeremy Massey- Highland Park
I endorse Dan Seals, because he has the vision to confront the pressing issues that we face today.
Adrienne Kirshbaum- Highland Park
I believe in Dan Seals and think that he would be a conscientious and effective representative for our district.
Jill Meyer – Highland Park
Dan should have won the first two times he ran. I’m supporting him this time around.
Marilyn Simon – Highland Park
No candidate knows the Tenth Congressional district as well as Dan Seals. He has the experience, education and strong convictions that will make his voice one that will be heard. Illinois will be very proud to have Dan Seals as our representative in the United States House of Representatives.
Sheldon Simon – Highland Park
Dan Seals will bring his solid leadership background to the House of Representatives.
Anita Weiss – Glenview
I believe Dan Seals will represent the 10th District with an ear to the needs of the district and the people who elect him. The people of the 10th come first for Dan Seals. Carol Lieberman – Riverwoods
Dan was there for the 10th District Dems when no one else was willing to make a tough fight. His intelligence and broad background in so many of the areas that touch our lives make him the right choice for this area.
Peggy Slater – Winnetka
A vote for Dan is a vote for the future of the Democratic Party in the 10th Congressional District and across the country. Dan has my vote.
Ron and Adrienne Kirshbaum – Highland Park
We are proud to stand with Dan Seals for Congress, and urge all voters in the 10th District to join us in voting for him!
Gladson Varghese – Libertyville
Go Mr. Seals, you have all of my support!
Shelley Richardson – Wheeling
As you probably already know, I am supporting Dan Seals for Congress. Dan is a man of integrity who has the intellect and the energy to help rebuild our economy, reform our health care system, and help develop sustainable energy policies. He has taken the time to get to know our community and is committed to making the future brighter for us and for generations to come. Instead of just talking about the issues, Dan recently held forums around the district, examining what is at stake for women’s health from both a scientific and policy perspective and how the economic recovery is progressing throughout the 10th district. Earlier this year, he helped design green jobs programs that will put people to work in Illinois. From the economy to health care, from the environment to foreign policy, Dan is ready to serve us by putting his ideas into action. I hope that you will join me in electing Dan Seals for Congress. I know he will be a strong voice for us in Washington and will take a stand on important issues. Please consider my endorsement of Dan when you vote on February 2nd. Please also ask your friends and family to vote for Dan as well. I know he will be a leader we can count on.
