Why Dan?
Dan believed in this race and the 10th District when no one else did. Only 5% of candidates challenging incumbents actually win and he almost beat Republican Mark Kirk winning over 47% of the vote.
Dan is known and liked among Democrats, Independents and Republicans, has met with and understands the residents from across the 10th District, and has the best chance to beat the Republicans next fall and represent us in Congress. Dan is the only candidate who has taken the time to get to know the district.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn the inside workings of a campaign for United States Congress while making valuable contacts for a future role in government and politics. Interns will sharpen their communication and analytical skills, gain an enhanced understanding of national and local politics and work directly with campaign staff and volunteers.
