The Joint Action Committee for Political Affairs Committee (JACPAC) announced its endorsement of Dan Seals, Congressional Candidate in Illinois’ 10th Congressional District Thursday, citing his commitment to the strengthening the US-Israel relationship and his commitment to reproductive choice.
“We’ve known Dan Seals for years, and we believe that Seals is the only candidate in this race who will stand up not only for Israel, but for women’s rights and separation of church and state,” stated Marcia Balonick, Executive Director, JACPAC.
JACPAC is a national PAC committed to the special relationship between the US and Israel and a domestic agenda that includes reproductive choice and separation of religion and state.
Seals Continues to Urge Strong Sanctions on Iran

Today, Democratic Congressional Candidate Dan Seals reiterated the necessity of tough economic sanctions against Iran.
“We must do everything within our power to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons,” said Seals. “A nuclear-armed Iran threatens not only the vital interests of the United States and its allies, but the very existence of Israel. We have a moral and strategic obligation to stand firmly and unequivocally with Israel.”
Just last week, Iran violated an agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency by enriching its uranium to a level closer to weapons-grade in the absence of atomic energy inspectors. Instead of halting its program, Iran is expanding its program, which may leave Israel no choice but to take military action against Iran.
