JACPAC Joins Seals Campaign in IL-10
The Joint Action Committee for Political Affairs Committee (JACPAC) announced its endorsement of Dan Seals, Congressional Candidate in Illinois’ 10th Congressional District Thursday, citing his commitment to the strengthening the US-Israel relationship and his commitment to reproductive choice.
“We’ve known Dan Seals for years, and we believe that Seals is the only candidate in this race who will stand up not only for Israel, but for women’s rights and separation of church and state,” stated Marcia Balonick, Executive Director, JACPAC.
JACPAC is a national PAC committed to the special relationship between the US and Israel and a domestic agenda that includes reproductive choice and separation of religion and state.
Seals has repeatedly called for strong sanctions on Iran and is committed to strengthening the relationship between the US and Israel and the Middle East peace process.
“I am honored to have JACPACs support. The people of this district should not have to choose between support for Israel and their other values. I intend to fight not only for Israel, but against those who would infringe on reproductive rights and separation of church and state,” stated Dan Seals.
In 2006 and 2008, JACPAC supported Congressman Mark Kirk’s re-election efforts. With Kirk setting his eyes on the Illinois Senate seat and vacating his Congressional seat, major players and organizations within the Jewish community are joining with the Seals campaign to bring victory in November.
