Healthy Kids Cook Off a Success
This past Saturday Dan Seals sponsored a Healthy Kids Cook Off where kids from across the district participated in a cooking contest to learn more about nutrition and eating right. Participants had healthy ingredients and 7 minutes to put together a healthy snack. Judges from local restaurants and Action for Healthy Kids judged the snacks on nutrition, creativity, and overall appearance. Each participant took away ideas for nutritious snacks and healthy habits!
