Hundreds gathered yesterday morning in Highland Park to walk with Israel. Although the day’s events were threatened with a chance of rain, the skies stayed clear as nearly a thousand people congregated at Highland Park High School. Numerous Seals Campaign supporters joined Dan as he participated in the 1-mile family walk. During the march, which took the participants through residential areas of Highland Park, Seals stickers and pins were handed out to the many spectators and Dan fans that lined the route. It was a great day for a walk and a great day to stand for Israel. To see a live video from yesterday, see the post below.

The Palatine and Wheeling Township Democrats held their annual picnic on a beautiful day at the Twin Lakes Recreation Area today. Dan revved up the crowd with his vision for the future. Congrats to Wheeling Township Committeewoman Kathleen Sances and Palatine Township Committeewoman Sue Walton on a great event!

Dan Seals addressed a packed house Thursday night at his Congressional Campaign Kick Off Event. The Highland Park Recreation center hosted the overflow crowd who cheered Seals’ decision to run in the 2010 race. The crowd was treated to a video, available soon on his website, of his personal story with touching interviews from family members describing Seals as determined, knowledgeable and sensitive to the concerns of his constituents. The summer is winding down and the campaign is winding up quickly. Dan needs your help and participation the next two weeks leading up to the Campaign Kick off on Sept. 10th in Highland Park.
Phone Bank to other supporters – Tuesday, September 1st, 7:00-9:00 p.m. At Seals headquarters, 405 Lake Cook Road, Suite 205 A in Deerfield.
Dan Seals Welcomes Supporters at Glencoe Public Library – Wednesday, September 2nd 7:30p.m. Come hear all the news.
Kick Off Parade – Buffalo Grove Days, Sunday September 6th at 12:00 p.m. Meet at corner of Indian Hill Drive and Bernard Drive in Buffalo Grove, zone 2- position #31.
Campaign Kick Off – Thursday, September 10th at 7:30 p.m. at the Recreation Center of Highland Park, 1207 Park Avenue West in H.P. We would love to have dozens of people from each township at this district wide fun Kick Off. Please recruit in your own areas. Let me know if you didn’t get the Kick off flier directly.

On Sunday, August 30th, Dan and his supporters volunteered for the third time with Maot Chitim of Greater Chicago. This is a year round volunteer effort delivering packages of food to the needy during Passover and Rosh Hashanah. Dan and his crew helped with the packing of the food packets for the start of upcoming Rosh Hashanah.
