The Drive to Revive Memorial Park Veterans Day Event

The community of Arlington Heights has come together to build an amazing monument to their community’s history. Memorial Park truly symbolizes the sacrifices that our military professionals and their families have made since this country’s inception. Last night at the Drive to Revive Memorial Park Veterans Day event, Dan heard inspiring stories of the men and women who have sacrificed their lives to ensure that we can stand here today. It truly is the soldier that has given us democracy.

Wheeling Business Luncheon
Dan met with a dozen business people from the Wheeling area today and discussed the economy and small business concerns. Questions covered the federal stimulus plan, the health care bill that passed in the U.S. House on Saturday evening, financing needs for small businesses, and investment needed in R&D to jump start the economy. Western 10th District Headquarters Grand Opening
Dan gathers with a full house of volunteers to open up the Arlington Heights Office and to discuss his plans for economic recovery. Afterwards, volunteers joined Dan as he went door to door to listen to the concerns of voters in Wheeling Township.

It’s 10/10, and we need at least 10 volunteers at each location to help us take back the 10th District. This effort is helping voters get engaged in the election and spreading the word about Dan. If you cannot make it but want to help, we can arrange to drop off supplies at your home. Dan spent the early morning hours today greeting commuters at the Arlington Heights train station, along with more than ten enthusiastic campaign volunteers. He received a wonderful reception from so many supporters and really enjoyed speaking with so many of you. He then headed up to the Waukegan Township Legislative Breakfast where he served as a co-sponsor of the event.
